Sonic the Hedgehog 1 Beta - Clock Work Zone

You start Clock Work Zone indoors, rather than outdoors like in Scrap Brain Zone. The W is missing from the Zone title card. In fact, the letters W, J, Q, V and X are all missing from the game. The little graphics tiles that make those letters are nowhere to be found in the game data.

The diagonal conveyor belts aren't in the final version. They might have been replaced by the rising platforms (see the right-hand picture).

This is the part of Act 1 where the giant crushing arms move back and forth (pictured right).

This area isn't in the final version, and you can see the diagonal conveyor belt in the corner.
