Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Beta - Carnival Night Zone

Sonic, who is underwater, still seems to have his out-of-water colour palette.

There's nothing special about this screenshot. I scanned it because it was with all the other beta screenshots in Fleetway's Sonic the Comic. You should ignore the fact that Sonic appears to be running around the cylinder in the beta screenshot. He does that in the final version, but only very briefly, so getting a screenshot of it is difficult.

Sonic's sprite is from Sonic 2. Also, it's not clear how Sonic is bouncing here.
